Thanks to everyone that came to my Punk Art 1970s speaking event last Saturday. Enough people showed up to fill the place with standing room only, and other people left without coming inside because they couldn’t get through the door. I was honored that so many people were enthusiastic to hear my crazy wild stories that go with my Punk photo collection. Also sold prints, met some very interesting people. Wow, what a night!

Okay, someone talked me into standing in front of a bunch of people to tell a few stories about my experiences in the pioneer Punk-Art Movement in San Francisco in the late 1970s. So, I’ll be there at 3920 Tennyson Street, 6:30p on the 23rd of January, 2010. Do you know how to Pogo?

An art show of some of my Punk/New Wave photo collection opens tonight on New Year’s Day  at the Photo Martini Club, 3920 Tennyson Street in Denver. I’ll be there from 6—10p. Hope to see you there!

I’ll be at St. Mark’s tonight for a casual opening of my Search & Destroy show of vintage Punk and New Wave photography. I’ll be there from 6p — midnight this April 10, which also happens to be my birthday.

If you can’t make it tonight, the show will be open all days until the end of April. Show location is 2019 East 17th Street in Denver.

Great new show to see at MCA Denver, one giant bright beautiful painting by Rex Ray! I met him tonight and discovered that he’s associated with a number of my fave people I worked with in San Francisco. Visit the show in the next few days and you might run into me photographing it for the museum.

I start teaching for Illuminate Workshops Saturday, a three day lighting and portraiture class.

On the 18th I’ll give a talk about my work at the Photo Martini Gallery in Denver.

On top of that, I’m opening two art shows in April, my street-art style ’70s punk collection @ St. Mark’s, and ghost nudes @ Vertigo Gallery; both galleries are in Denver.
