The world’s greatest iconoclast artist left us a few days ago, a sad day in the the art world. I knew Bruce for 32 years, and did periodic jobs for him. His insistence and persistence on purity of vision truly inspired, a character like I’ve never met before. He’ll be missed, and much of my own spirit and work will continue to be influenced. The wickedly-witty artist Bruce Conner, in my opinion, was the most significant artist of our time, and I felt greatly honored to know and work with him.
